The Consortium of Excellence 9 in China and the Consortium of Six National Universities in Japan Signed a Cooperation Agreement

The Singing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between the Consortium of Excellence 9 (E9) in China and the Consortium of Six National Universities in Japan (SixERS) was successfully held on November 11. Representatives from both sides attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.

 


 

The two consortiums first signed the cooperation agreement in 2016. Over the past six years, friendly cooperation has been established between the alliance universities, and the renewal of the cooperation agreement will open a brand new chapter for the cooperation between the two sides.


 

Background Information:

E9 consists of nine top comprehensive universities with science and technology characteristics in China, which are Beijing Institute of Technology, Chongqing University, Dalian University of Technology, Southeast University, Harbin Institute of Technology, South China University of Technology, Tianjin University, Tongji University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University.

 

SixERS is composed of six top research universities in Japan, and its member universities maintain high research standards in the fields of medicine, education, chemistry, and economics. It includes Chiba University, Okayama University, Kanazawa University, Nagasaki University, Niigata University, and Kumamoto University.
