In order to promote academic exchanges between scholars from home and abroad, strengthen cooperation in relevant fields, and achieve joint innovation, the reception of School of Chemical Engineering of DUT was successfully held at AIChE in Orlando, USA on November 10th.
American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a communication platform for researchers in the field of chemical engineering in the United States and also around the world. It is also a tradition to hold reception at AIChE for international renowned universities such as MIT, University of California, Berkeley, California Institute of Technology, and well-known domestic universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Tianjin University. Since 2017, DUT has held receptions at AIChE for three years.
More than 180 alumni and guests attended the meeting from all over the world, including Stanford University, MIT, Princeton University, University of Florida, University of Michigan, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Cambridge University, Birmingham University, Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, and East China University of Science and Technology. Besides, more than 10 young scholars submitted their resumes on the spot and were willing to apply for School of Chemical Engineering of DUT. Experts at the meeting expressed their support and raised their suggestions for the development of School of Chemical Engineering.
