In order to improve the English expression skills and professional English ability of students and create a good English academic atmosphere, Leicester International Institute held the second "Poster Presentation" competition in May for students of Panjin Campus. The contestants were allowed to develop their own poster themes, and both the poster content and the poster presentation were expressed in English. During the presentation, the contestants needed to introduce their posters to the judges and interact with the students present.
After the selection of poster submissions, online poster voting and presentation simulation, the second "Poster Presentation" competition was held in E02(the auditorium of Panjin campus). This year's works covered hot topics of scientific research such as take-out efficiency, automatic driving, andthe burning rate of mosquito-repellent incense. During the competition, the contestants vividly shared their posters to each foreign teachers and students.
The "Poster Presentation" competition not only creates a good academic atmosphere and encourages students to study academic journals in related fields, but also helps students to improve their English oral expression and application skills, making them love English more. We hope that students will continue to improve their academic ability and English proficiency in the future.
