In order to further promote Sino-Belarusian educational cooperation following the Belt and Road Initiative, 100 Belarusian middle school students participated in the Sino-Belarusian International Summer Camp from July 19 to July 21 in DUT. This is one of the important activities of the "Belarusian Education Year of 2019".
To ensure the smooth progress of the event, the school selected 36 student volunteers to serve as assistants and play the roles of bridges for cultural exchanges between China and Belarus. On July 19, after taking a group photo in front of the unique "Lian Li" stone and the main building of DUT, the students visited the main building, Lingxi Library, Acoustic Laboratory of School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, Solid Mechanics Laboratory, etc.
Afterwards, the students of the Belarusian delegation brought a wonderful Belarusian cultural feast to DUT teachers and students. The beautiful traditional Belarusian songs, the wonderful and lively Belarusian folk dances, and the unique musical instrument performances have deeply fascinated Chinese teachers and students.
Off the campus, the Belarusian delegation also visited the Dalian Urban Planning Exhibition Center and the Patriotism Education Base in Lvshun, etc., to learn about the development history of Dalian and China's national conditions. During the visit and exchanges, Belarusian teachers and students also gained a deeper understanding of the long-standing and profound friendship between China and Belarus.
