On June 15, a delegation from the University of Leicester, headed by President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nishan Canagarajah, together with Dirk Schaefer, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the College of Science and Engineering, paid a visit to Dalian University of Technology (DUT).

Xiang Changle, Chairman of DUT Council, held talks with the visiting group. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on deepening their strategic partnership and advancing practical cooperation across diverse fields. Zhan Jingjing, Assistant to the President, as well as officials from the Academic Affairs Office, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and the Leicester International Institute attended the meeting.

During their visit, the Leicester delegation toured the State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering and the Analysis and Testing Center. They also travelled to DUT’s Panjin Campus to take part in a series of events including the graduation ceremony of the Leicester International Institute and forums with faculty and students.
