From June 15 to 19 local time, President Gao Xiang led a delegation from Dalian University of Technology (DUT) to conduct an official exchange visit to Minsk, Belarus. This visit is designed to further connect with the Belt and Road Initiative Education Action and the educational cooperation layout of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, deepen comprehensive and pragmatic cooperation between DUT and top universities, scientific research institutes as well as industrial parks in Belarus, and implement educational exchange arrangements under the China-Belarus all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership.

During the trip, the DUT delegation attended a host of key events, namely the China-Belarus International Conference on Industry-University-Research-Application Cooperation, the opening ceremony of China-Belarus Equipment Manufacturing Science and Technology Exchange Event, the SCO University Presidents Forum, and the 20th anniversary celebration of the Confucius Institute at Belarusian State University. The delegation also paid field visits to Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian State University and the China-Belarus Great Stone Industrial Park, laying a solid foundation for deeper long-term collaborative exchanges between both sides in education, scientific research and industrial innovation.
