Dalian University of Technology (DUT) launched its inaugural Global Engagement Month together with the 8th International Cultural Festival on May 31. Representatives from 28 prestigious universities across Asia, Europe, America and Australia attended the event, including the University of Melbourne, The University of Queensland, etc..

Under the theme " Global DUT, Shared Future", the opening ceremony witnessed the launch of the DUT Global Vision Project. DUT will press ahead with three major programs focusing on student development, scholar exchange and academic advancement to pursue a forward-looking international development strategy.

Following the ceremony, the International Cultural Festival officially opened. Students from over 60 countries across five continents presented a rich variety of global cultures to teachers and students on campus.The journey of global connection continues throughout June. Stay tuned for more!
