Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology Board of Administration Meeting was Held

On September 27, Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology (DLI) Board of Administration (BOA) Meeting was held in the form of video conference in room 412 of the main building. Philip Baker and Sarah Davies, Pro Vice Chancellors of the University of Leicester (UOL), the heads of Academic Affairs and Finance Office from UOL, Guo Dongming, President of Dalian University of Technology (DUT), Zhang Chi, Vice President of DUT, Zhan Jingjing, Assistant President of DUT, heads of DUT Academic Affairs Office, International Office, Finance Office, DLI and other members of BOA attended the meeting.

 

 

The meeting considered and approved the adjustment of the membership of BOA and Joint Academic Committee, listened to the report on the development and quality of DLI for the academic year 2021-2022, reviewed and approved the financial accounts for 2021-2022 and the budget plan for 2022-2023, considered the minutes of the previous BOA meeting and the new undergraduate programs, recruitment of foreign academic staff based in Panjin campus, extensive publicity of the achievements of DLI, and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and other work plans.

 


 

Presidents from both sides expressed their hope that the two universities would continue to strengthen their cooperation, step up the pace of collaboration in scientific research, mutual visits of teachers and joint training of graduate students, enhance closer relationship and promote a healthy and long-term partnership.
