On December 6, Leicester International Institute (DLI) held the party called “It Is You That Accompany Me In DLI ” in E03 hall on Panjin Campus. Faculties and students gathered here to share a wonderful time with Professor Pan Jingzhe, the Dean of DLI British side, and professors from Uiversity of Leicester (UoL) via live-streaming system.
The party kicked off with a song called Lemon Tree taught by the British teachers during the Social Event. With the greeting videos from the British teachers, the English stage play Music Sound by the Foreign Affairs Department of DLI, the original song DLI by UoL teachers , the dance performance Cute Totter byDLI teachers, and the Ping Opera called Take seal to persuade Guangqing by President Pan Jingzhe, the online interaction between Chinese and British teachers and students brought the atmosphere of the party to climax again and again. In addition, there were also some other performances like orchestra concert, creative dance, songs mix, and interesting games. Then, all the participants sang the song We Are Young, and the party ended up with applause and cheers. Despite the geographical distance and the cold wind, the passionate enthusiasm of the DLI students could not be resisted, and they lit up the splendid university life with their youthful vigor.
British teachers watched the live streaming, actively participated in the lottery, games and other sections, and elaborately prepared amazing programs, expressing their missing to each other through the Internet.
