What's the requirement of the program?

A：Ⅰ. A visiting professor can conduct teaching or joint research projects at DUT. For a visiting professor to conduct teaching at DUT, the visiting period of each year can be 1 to 4 months, and 32 class hours of teaching is required for a stay for 1 to 2 months (including 2 months), or 64 class hours for a stay for 3 to 4 months. 

Ⅱ. For a visiting professor to conduct joint research projects, the visiting period shall be 4 weeks to 90 days and he/she should : 

1.Jointly publish no less than 3 high-level academic papers in 3 years;

2. Complete at least two of the following: 

a. Send 1 international student to study a Ph. D. or post-doctoral program at DUT; 

b. Send or accept 1 DUT student to study a Ph. D. program in his/her university; 

c. Send 1 international student to study at DUT for no less than 3 months; 

d. Send or accept 1 DUT student to study at his/her university no less than 3 months; 

e. Send 1 postdoc to work in the postdoctoral station at DUT.for 3 to 4 months. 

Ⅲ. For visiting professors to conduct online guidance, including course learning, research guidance, paper & thesis writing, online lecture, etc.

How about funding?

A：For Long-term visiting program, Travel expenses, accommodation expenses and livingallowances are supported for online guidance, allowance is supported. DUT IO   Ms. ZHANG Xinyan   dutio@dlut.edu.cn
