On the afternoon of June 27th, Professor Sang-Yup Lee, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, an academician of the Korean National Academy of Science and Technology, and the Vice President of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, was invited by the Key Laboratory of Intelligent Biomanfacturing of the Ministry of Education to be a guest at the 253rd Baichuan Lecture. He delivered a keynote lecture titled "Sustainable Manufacturing through Metabolic Engineering of Bacterial Systems." Vice President of DUT Yao Shan attended the lecture. Representatives of the Faculty of Bioengineering, and more than 150 young students from various departments participated in the lecture. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xue Chuang, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Bioengineering.
