Dalian University of Technology led the establishment of China-Belarus University Alliance with Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The ceremony was held on November 21^st. 81 universities from both countries became the first batch of alliance members.

The China-Belarus University Alliance is founded on the basis of years of cooperation in the field of education between China and Belarus, and is supported and guided by the Ministries of Education of China and Belarus, the Chinese Embassy in Belarus and the Belarusian Embassy in China. The Alliance aims to build a platform for high-level exchanges and cooperation between China and Belarus in the field of higher education, to broaden the channels of cooperation, to enrich the forms and connotations of cooperation, to deepen the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Belarusian universities, to create a new model of international educational cooperation, and to build up the strength of civil society for the friendship of China and Belarus for the next generation.
