On May 12, the 15th anniversary of the friendly exchange between Dalian University of Technology(DUT) and Hanyang University and the opening ceremony of the 2022 anniversary series of cooperation between DUT and overseas partner universities was successfully held online and offline.

Minister Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Korea, leaders of the two universities, representatives of the Dalian Municipal People's Government, Korean entrepreneurs in Dalian, representatives of the university international affairs departments, and teachers and students of architecture disciplines attended the meeting.

Fifteen years of friendly exchanges between the two universities is a good example of non-governmental exchanges between China and the Republic of Korea. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as well as the year of cultural exchange between China and the Republic of Korea. With the deepening of exchanges between the two countries in terms of human and material resources, both countries have deeply realized the importance of enhancing mutual understanding and enhancing joint cooperation.

Over the past 15 years, DUT and Hanyang University have carried out a variety of exchange activities on architectural art, port engineering and other disciplines. As each other's largest source of international students, the two universities look forward to further expand the scope, scale and level of talent training cooperation, especially to expand the scale of degree students in the fields of engineering and natural science.

On the afternoon of the same day, the School of Architecture and Fine Art held webinars between the two universities' architecture and art disciplines, and nearly 100 teachers and students participated in online academic exchanges.
